The CEMENTIS Group is strategically refocusing its activities in the Indian Ocean, and our cement business in Madagascar is about to embark on a new adventure. In our quest for progress, Cementis was always looking for a solid partner to support the investment needed to develop our activities in Madagascar. Instead of a partnership, WHI, a subsidiary of the Indonesian giant Cemenindo Gemilang, and the Gamma Group from Mauritius, have offered to take over all Cementis activities in Madagascar, thus breathing a wind of change into the big island.
Concentrating our expertise in Mauritius, Reunion, Seychelles, Mayotte and Comoros, Cementis remains the leading supplier of cement and cement products in the region. From now on, we will invest all our energy in influencing the sustainable development of cement in the region.
