GAETAN AH KANGGaetan Ah Kang
DIRECTORÂ
Gaetan Ah Kang is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Gaetan spent the first six years of his career working in the UK in an audit firm. He returned to Mauritius in 1992 and joined De Chazal Du Mee in an Audit role. He subsequently moved to the Risk and Audit team of the Rogers Group in 1994 before he became the Finance Manager of the Rogers Group Engineering Cluster in 1999. Since 2004 Gaetan is the Group Finance Director and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee of the Taylor Smith Group. He is also a director of the Cementis Group and of Lavastone Ltd which is listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius
VINCENT LENETTE
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Vincent Lenette joined the Mauritius Portland Cement Co Ltd in 1973 in the accounts department. He became the Managing Director of Lafarge Mauritius Cement Ltd and of Cement Transport Ltd in 2010. He was also appointed Managing Director of Pre Mix Concrete in January 2012. Vincent retired in December 2012 after 39 years in the cement industry. Since then he has been serving as independent director on the board of Directors and continues to make major contributions to the company drawing on his vast experience of all aspects of the cement business.
COLIN TAYLOR
CHAIRPERSON
Colin joined the Rogers Group in the Automotive Division in 1987. He was appointed Manager of the Taylor Smith Engineering Division in 1991 and was promoted to Managing Director three years later. He was appointed Executive Director of the Rogers Group Engineering Cluster in 1999 and has been CEO of Taylor Smith Group since 2004.  Colin was a director on the Lafarge Mauritius Board for a number of years before it was sold to the Taylor Smith Group in 2021. He is now the Chairman of Cementis Mauritius and Cementis Indian Ocean. He also holds the post of Honorary Consul for Sweden in Mauritius. Colin has a Bsc (Hons) in Engineering and Business Studies and an MSC in Management. He is also the Chairman of Lavastone Ltd and director of Cim Financial Services Ltd both companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.
HEBA CAPDEVILA-JANGEERKHAN
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR & CEO, CEMENTIS GROUP
Heba practiced as an Organisation Development Consultant in the UK for a number of years until her move to Mauritius. In 1997 Heba was appointed Human Resource Development Manager with a leading textile company, comprising 4000 employees, prior to being recruited by World Duty Free (UK) to join their Senior Management Team in Mauritius. In 2002 she joined Rogers as Human Resources Manager, and from 2004 to 2021 has held the following positions within the Taylor Smith Group: Human Resources & Communications Directors, Executive Director Strategy and Development and currently as COO for the Group.  Heba joint the Cementis group as CEO of Cementis Mauritius and COO of Cementis Indian Ocean since the end of 2021. Heba holds a Bsc (Hons) in Business Studies and an Msc in Organisation Development.
JOAN JILL WAN BOK NALE
INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Jill is a finance professional with over 13 years of local and regional experience in Transaction Advisory and Assurance services provided across a diverse client portfolio spanning Hospitality, Financial Services, Real Estate, Gaming, Building Materials, Construction, or F&B/Leisure. She last held the position of Associate Director (Deals) at PwC where she spent 5 years advising both private and public clients on multiple and varied assignments including Valuations, Due Diligence/Feasibility Studies, Financial/Corporate restructuring, IPO and SEM/DEM Transaction Advisory, M&A advisory, Strategy and Business planning, and Deal closing. Prior to joining PwC, Jill worked 2 years at International Financial Services Ltd (now Sanne Mauritius), a leading local offshore management company, overseeing a portfolio of over 100 clients including mutual funds and private equity funds, and serving as Director on a number of investment funds/GBC’s. She started her career at Ernst & Young, spending 6 years in the Assurance department being involved on and leading the audits of listed and non-listed financial institutions mainly including banks, NBFI’s and Insurance companies, whilst concurrently being in charge of the IFRS technical desk.
